Interesting game! I love all the creatures design and the way you keep injecting yourself with parasites and DRUGS (and their designs are also so cute and silly)
Surviving for 999 seconds seems cool! However, I'm unable to play this game due to my laptop being suck.
I can help pinpoint some bugs I noticed in the game.
First, some area of the arena suffers heavy performance issues than the others, the area with the highest performance is the left side center with the tentacle on it.
Second, the drugs icon disappear on multiple browser & mobile, but not on Itch Io app.
Third, the drugs description text are written as temporary in mobile.
The mobile version is held together with hopes and dreams, I'll be pushing a patch and try to fix the optimization, glad you liked the creature designs!
Past 350 seconds i guess spawners just checked out and didn't spawn enemies, but the overall art style and gameplay loop is great.
Yeah after the jam period the enemy ai and spawn system will definitely need a major overhau, as of now it's very processing heavy, and too inconsistent
No doubt it's gonna get better but the art style kept me going for the entire duration of the game vibe is creepy enemy sprites are grotesque and the level up parasite injections are whack very very creative endeavor.

i really enjoyed the game! i like the art style and the design concept of each upgrade and drug. i'd add a music in the background to create an atmosphere, other than that it actually feels really good!
The tiny self-knockback from firing the weapon is giving me simulation sickness. Since once you get past 3 rate of fire upgrades it's just constantly moving your viewport slightly. Also almost all enemies are bugged around the edge of the screen. If you just stand in a corner all enemy types except that smaller purple alien-y looking thing simply cannot reach you.
